How to pre-enroll

Who should pre-enroll, what you need, and how to do it online or in person. Online takes about 5 minutes. Pre-enrolling is free, and it is not a contract.

Easiest on a computer at tremont-45z.com; the steps are the same as on a phone. A short walk-through with a voice explaining each step, plus captions, so turn your sound on or just read along: sign in, answer each farm, confirm your email and INCITE.AG contact, and finish. The farmer in the video is made up.

Only one person per farm, and it should be the producer

The producer, the person who farms the ground and makes the tillage, planting and fertilizer decisions, should pre-enroll each farm. Only one person needs to do it.

Landlords don’t need to pre-enroll. When the producer pre-enrolls a farm, it covers every landlord and account on it. If you are a landlord, check with your tenant.

What you need

  • A mobile number Tremont has on file for you, to sign in online. Not on file? Use Pre-enroll here on the sign-in page, or call us.
  • Your email address.
  • For each farm: the crop you grew in 2026 (corn, soybeans, wheat or other), the acres, and an average yield in bushels per acre, actual or expected. Exact yields for each field aren’t needed.
  • Any farm we don’t have on file: its name or location (township and section), and the landlord and how the farm is split.
  • Who INCITE.AG should call for your field-by-field onboarding: their name, mobile number and email.

Later, for the INCITE.AG onboarding call (not needed to pre-enroll): your field records for tillage passes, cover crops, nitrogen (rate, product, timing, and how much got an inhibitor), and phosphorus and potassium.

Two ways to pre-enroll

Option 1 · about 5 minutes

Online: easiest on a computer

  1. On your computer (or phone), go to tremont-45z.com and sign in with your mobile number. We text a 6-digit code to your phone; type it in.
  2. Tap Pre-enroll now, then Start answering. Your farms are listed by farm number.
  3. For each farm, pick the crop (corn enrolls it in 45Z; please record soybeans, wheat and other too), then enter the acres and average yield.
  4. Confirm your email and who INCITE.AG should call.
  5. Tap I’m done, then Complete to schedule your INCITE.AG onboarding call.
Option 2 · we’ll help

In person or by phone

Stop by the Tremont office or any Tremont Co-op location. We will print a form with your farms already filled in. Fill it out, and we will enter it for you.

Or call Mike Hainline or Joe Logsdon at 309-925-4981, and we will pre-enroll your farms with you over the phone.

What happens after you pre-enroll

Shortly after you pre-enroll, you should get a text message or email to schedule a call with our scoring partner, INCITE.AG. On that call they go through your fields one by one, so have your field records handy.
